I love that you have Brandon Coleman going in the 2nd round and Johnny Manziel out of the first. I'm not a fan of Fales to Cincinnati. One of our issues is the inability of Dalton to throw in weather due to a lack of arm strength. I'm not sure Fales fixes that. I'd rather have Mettenberger.

I don't think the Bengals go OLB. They really like Lamur who was injured all year and we took Porter last year.
Also agree about Fales. I don't like his lack of arm strength. I'd rather keep Dalton.
We also HAVE to come away from the first 2 rounds with a CB.

As much as I like Sean Parker (my 1-b safety), Baltimore does not need a safety. James Ihedigbo has played much better than anyone could have imagined. I believe he is worth resigning to another contract as opposed to having two very young rookie safeties.

Brett Smith in the top 10?! I like him but he's being projected as a 3rd right now. Also ASJ won't be a pick for the Browns

The problem with Mettenberger is his fit within Jay Gruden's West Coast Offense. They could certainly adjust to fit Mettenberger and I would understand them going that route. As much as Dalton's lack of arm is an issue and it is, he is just not a really nuanced passer. I think that is where David Fales can really be a boost for Cincinnati. He is such an effective chemistry passer and really knows where his guys are going and is able to anticipate throws extremely well.

Also ASJ won't be a pick for the Browns I don't care where other people project anyone, but I think my analysis of the pick provides the necessary context to explain it. The ASJ won't be the pick for the Browns, while a compelling argument, does not really bring much to the table. Why not?

I could certainly see them going that route, but if guys were just on the field, they appear to be fine. They could certainly not go with the LB position, but it is something that continues to be an issue for them. Maualuga at MLB on anything but run downs is a bad idea and Burfict should move inside. James Harrison seeing the field is a problem. If they were to add Shazier with Burfict in the middle and Maualuga at SAM, they are so much more athletic and versatile in what they can do. Porter can be a situational pass rusher or sub package player. Last year, I thought they should have taken Arthur Brown. They didn't, may or may not regret it. I also seriously considered giving them Kyle Van Noy as being the type of player that Mike Zimmer would adore.

Ihedigbo has done well this year, but is that who he is or more of a one great year situation? That's sort of the thinking there, but value and need really left me not sure what to give them. I think they would like another TE, but Arthur Lynch gives them virtually the same type of thing they have in Pitta, so that seemed redundant. Maybe they would want two, but that's how that went down.

That you dont care where other people mock players, and thats how I usually base my mocks off of because there are always surprises during draft day and playing that will be improving their stock after Senior Bowl, and the combine. I am said to have one of the most different mocks out there. I hope to be assigned to make a mock draft this upcoming week. Also, im a browns fan and ASJ doesn't fit the system and the Browns FO want playmakers, someone like Lee. But overall, good job though.

I just can't see the Bengals drafting a QB that early. Like you said though, Dalton is good enough to get them to the playoffs, but can he win the Super Bowl?
I think it's much more likely that they wait until the 3rd or 4th round, especially with the way your mock shaped out, to draft a possible replacement.

When Chud was here as an OC, he had Kellen Winslow and Steve Heiden. ASJ would be the Heiden in that scenario with the ability to be a play maker. I think you're selling the guy short. He's a stud. Chud loves tight ends, Norv loves tight ends. I think he is a big time fit.

Im also a big fan of Cj Fiedorowicz. I like him better than ASJ. ASJ to mw isn't a great athlete, lazy at times, bad footwork and balance in blocking game, but does have good size.

Yes injuries have decimated it, but Newman is old, Jones is getting older, we have no idea how Hall will come back, Kirkpatrick stinks. We have to get another CB. Now I agree that moving Rey from the middle is a good idea, but Zim and Marv love him there and realistically they aren't getting a linebacker to replace him. That's why I just don't think they take one. If we did take one, Kyle Van Noy>>>>>>>>>>>>Shazier.
